Dartmouth, Shotokan, Karate club attended September’s grading day in Brixham with 9th dan Sensei Sherry and again the students of the club successfully achieved their targeted grading results.
After a challenging 2 hour training session with Sensei Sherry and being put through their paces, the students then were graded on their Kata’s and other Shotokan Karate disciplines.
Congratulations to Lauren Pomfret on achieving her Red Belt, (8th Kyu), Dan Sinnott for achieving his Purple & white striped belt (4th Kyu), Trevor & Lucy Branton for achieving their Brown Belts (3rd Kyu) and to Ian Parker for achieving his Brown and white striped (2nd Kyu)
The clubs Black Belts & Instructors also trained with Sensei Sherry (picture in centre) and are included in this picture are Kain Harper (2nd dan) Richard Sinnott (2nd Dan) Chris Myton (2nd Dan) & Adam Denly one of our newest black belts, all watched on & encouraged by our instructor Peter Atkins (pictured wearing Club Jacket)
